once there was a story meant for the imaginative mind
filled with legends and myth of a world left behind
wizards, elves and hobbits filled the story
some parts were happy some were gory
these may seem the ideals of a childish book
but the relation to whats happening now is everywhere you look
ents being destroyed with their voices being weak
till it had gone too far and treebeard finally did speak
but trees in our world do not have a voice
unless the people of the world decide to make a choice
to pay attention to how were destroying the earth
and how we can stop it if we realize its worth.

In the movie there was a speech
made by Merry who didnt usually teach
he was trying to make the ents see
that they should fight because the world was in need
just like now there is people dying
and theres people wanting to help, wholl risk their lives trying
But there is also people trying to protest this war
but who are we to say whether the people suffering are worth fighting for?
innocent people will die
but they would have, if we didnt try
I agree war is not the answer to this life
that poverty wont end with the edge of a knife
but when people say its not our war and its happening to God knows who?
remember it was Merry who said, You are apart of this world, Arent you?
